A little girl named Karen,
Went to a Christian school.
And the main thing that she learned there,
Was to live the Golden Rule.
But in her first job in the world,
And then jobs two and three.
The position on the org chart,
Seemed to be the golden key.
She was always near the bottom,
Which wasn’t very fun.
She looked around and asked herself,
Am I the only one?
So Karen made a company,
And treated all the same.
It made the papers, won awards,
Gained fortune and some fame.
But then the dreaded day arrived,
She knew some day it would.
Her staff said that an org chart,
Could really do some good.
So Karen sold her company,
Which turned out to be quite smart.
Though she really missed those golden days,
And how they filled her heart.
She thought, “I’ll build a village,
Because I really care.
For the overworked and underplayed,
For them, I will be there.
We’ll figure out the shortcuts,
For health, the kids and spouse.
We’ll problem solve together,
‘Bout the boss and ‘round the house.
“Build it and they’ll come,” she said,
“Day sun, night stars, you’ll see.
At www.timetobreathe.com,
Let’s make you you’s, a we!”
Thanks for visiting and come back often!
